June Favourites; collab The Average Gurl

Hello everyone,

Before I get started, I would like to say this is a collab with 'The average gurl'. You can find her at: www.theaveragegurl.wordpress.com. I am not sure when her favourites blog is going up but it will be up soon for sure!
(I know I recently did a favourites blog but I wanted to do another one anyway)
Enjoy :)

The first of my favourites is the W7 'In The Buff' eye palette. I got this off Amazon for a bargain of only £6 including the W7 'In The Nude' eye palette. The colours are beautiful and they are deep blues and browns but also a mix of golds. Overall I really like this palette, it is one of my faves!

Next, as you can see it is not beauty, this is food! This is the Jelly Belly, Bean Boozled jelly beans and I got these from WHSmiths. I am sure you have heard of these but if not heard of these, this is how the game works. Basically there are jelly beans of lots of different flavours and the flavours look alike. You have to taste a flavour (e.g booger or juicy pear) and one is good one is bad and you have to hope you get the good one. It's such a fun game and so I would definitely recommend this to you(Sorry that was really bad explaining:()

So, I have also been loving the Bourjois, Volume 1 second mascara. This flipping amazing! I can't even put into words how much I love this!! Firstly the packaging is sooo cute and pretty! I got this in Boots for £9.99. It is so worth it's value it leaves your eyelashes curled all day and definitely gives my eyelashes volume and definition. This is literally my holy grail mascara right now. This is my life saver. So go out pick one up right now!!

The last of my favourites this month is The Body Shop, body butter in coconut. This smells so good and smells sooo good! It feels so refreshing and leaves my skin moisturised and soft.

I hope your enjoyed this blog. Don't forget to check out The Average Gurl's collab blog. Another blog will be up soon.

Keep smiling,
Lily xx

Your beautiful!

Hello beauty's!

How are you all? Today I wanted to add a little blog on how to be happy and confident with being you. (Just a quick disclaimer, I am not an expert, these are just my opinions and views:D)

You are beautiful! Tell that to yourself over and over until you believe it! Don't let anyone tell you any different. Don't listen to people if they are imature about your appearance. Stand up for yourself, say to those idiotic people 'Actually, I am beautiful'.

In reality I know that people get judged on their looks everyday. It's just how reality has evolved to become. People always try to look their best by wearing tons and tons of makeup. Why should we being doing this? Why should we feel afraid to show the real us? Why do we all hide our faces under our makeup on an everyday basis?

Be confident in the real you. Block out the haters. Focus on the happy times.

I hope you enjoyed this little blog. It is a lite bit different but I thought I'd give this one a try. Keep smiling!

Love Lily xx

May Favourites!

Hello Everyone x

Before I get started I would like to tell you that i have just opened an Instagram account. It's called justlilyslife. Please go and check it out and follow me:)

As it's coming up to the end of May, I thought it would be good idea to talk about favorites this month. Today I have mainly stuck to the topic of beauty. Also this is in no particular order <3

Enjoy!

So here is my Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream and this is in the shade light. This is so good!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! It does 7 amazing things to the face which i really like about it. I only recently picked it up and I have used it everyday since! If you don't know what this is, it's a tinted moisturiser which you apply before putting make up on. Basically it's like the base for your makeup. I bought this for £7.00 in Boots and it was so worth it. I really, really, really would recommend it!

Next I have chosen these three Benefit lip glosses. They are such pretty colours. I got these in set of about 6 but I liked these three the most out of all of them. Starting on the left, the first lip gloss is called A-lister, the middle is called Lollibop and the last one is called Kiss You. My favourite one out of the three has to be the first one, A-lister, because it is a very nude and natural colour and matches any outfit. I really like all of them though because they give my lips a spring and brighter look. These are on the pricier side, one lip gloss is £14.50 but mine was in a set so mine was around £25.00.

So this is the Soap and Glory Love At First Blush blusher. This one is in the shade Pink, Pop and Pearl. This has a mix of pretty pinks, golds and shimmery browns. It makes your face look brighter and healthier without making you look like you have gone all out with your make up. This was only £11.00 so a pretty good price for what it is. I would really recommend you guys picking this up!

Finally I am going to be talking about this product. This is the Simple, Kind To Eyes, roll on. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SO MUCH. This product is amazing! You apply it to your eyes before you go to bed and in the morning it hides your bags and reduces the redness and puffiness around them. You can also apply this to your face in the morning to give even more coverage over your bags. I picked this one up at Superdrug for only £4.99 which is super for what it does. I am definitely going to be picking one of these again when I run out!

So that is everything for this post. I hop you enjoyed this post because I really enjoyed writing it.

LOTS OF LOVE,
LILY xx
